Kilburn Nightingale have designed a house adjacent to the new studio for the artist Kate Whiteford (awarded a Civic Trust Commendation in 2002). Shaped to fit its awkward site and sheltered by an oversailing copper roof, the house creates an interesting variety of internal and external spaces.
