The Grade I Listed Farringford House was the residence of Alfred Lord Tennyson in the late 19th Century. Extensive work will restore it in the spirit of the building during Tennyson’s occupancy and will enable it to hold events and exhibitions.

The ongoing work comprises the complete restoration of the historic house and the sympathetic development of the site as a whole, including the demolition of inappropriate and low quality structures and the insertion of carefully planned new buildings.
