Kilburn Nightingale have completed a feasibility study for the design and construction of the International Heritage and Research Centre in a new park being created on the site of Daming Palace, the seat of the Tang Dynasty in the historic city Xi’an.
The facilities, which include interactive displays, practical demonstration areas, research laboratories, educational amenities along with cafe and shop, are accommodated in a complex of converted warehouses and new buildings.
Design for a flexible and adaptable covered space that can be used for archaeological excavations while allowing visitors to observe.
